Actually, if you've checked the clan admin stuff out on the game, you know that you can start the clan right on the game and send clan invites to everyone. I'm tagged up with SWL right now, but man, shoot me a clan invite with tags enabled and we'll get this game rockin! Also, you can create a party and invite all your buddies online (or clan members, etc..) and join the whole party to existing games or create custom games. I don't know if we have to be on at the same time or not for you to send a clan invite, but I can start leaving my PS3 logged into Resistance all day in order to get hooked up... Let me know... The Resistance Jedi Jihad will be much glorious!!!!

Okay again... The buddy thing worked good... I tried to change the clan tag to SWLR, but it didn't let me type more than three letters. The name for this forum is pretty freakin cool, so what do you think of ROL - Rise Of Legends. It was your idea, just thought we could make it official. In the clan description on the game screen, we could still name the clan Star Wars Legends: Rise of Legends, or something... Or, we could do away with the Star Wars and follow the LOC mold. I am going to publish this book.

Be sure to check out and sign up on myresistance.net. It's like Sonic Army, but for Resistance. It's got some really cool forums, tips, etc. You can link your PS3 PSnetwork account to it and then get special downloads, etc. It gives you codes for a Cloven skin, which is pretty tight. Also, I found out on the forums that in order to get the skull skin, you have to not only beat the game in SuperHuman, but you have to get all of the skill points. There is a post on the forums that walks you through what all the skill points are and how best to get them. My camel is very happy now.

I just found out that you might actually get to play against the Insomniac people online from time to time. They have a moon next to their name. I guess they sort of suck, but it's cool anyways. I also found out that they are always reading the posts on myresistance.net and are using the feedback to actually build patches and add new content to the game which will be available for download in the future. That is really cool...

As far as strategy goes.... headshots, headshots, headshots. Use the target dart with the Bullseye and most people can't shake it off (by shaking the controller) before you nail them. The shotgun when you can get close enough is amazingly deadly, two shots and their finished. I saw a dude clear a room of ten guys (me included) with a shotgun.

In meltdown, you can look at your map on the top left of the screen and you'll notice some colored lines along the edge of the circle. These are the direction (kindof like a compass) of the reactors. It makes it easier to find than actually bringing up the big map (which you do by pressing the dpad up.)

I'll be looking for you guys online and we'll set up an empty room (you don't even have to have your own server to do so...) so we can train.

Throw frag grenades at their feet and they'll explode on impact... Zippa, you would love it, it actually is more fun than throwing toasters...

yes, i must admit the game is one of the sickest out there, and theres more to come. and u guys can call me just sebass ( the o is in case someone else has sebass as well). Played online and it was pretty sick. does the game auto pick rooms for u (based on rank)? just a question i had, was tryin to see individual servers, but they auto assign me (given i only did try ranked games and deathmatch). i do like the online though, its sick and i got a couple kills. funny thing is that i havent evern passed the first boss yet on the game. i started out on medium, then when i heard u guys play hard, i changed the game setting and started over. hopefully my skills will improve, just need some of that juice jonakin .

anyways, dont know how we could get on the same server, let me know, and i was also wondering if the old mic works on the ps3. when i plugged it in i didnt hear anyone

Legend! Yeah, those rockets can be a bitch. Sometimes you'll get lucky and see their lazer guidance system pointed at you, and you can run like hell... I'm with you, I really like the ranking system, it's deep as hell. It rewards you for playing online.

Himself, or Osebass, the easiest way to play online is by choosing ranked and letting the server find you... but you can create your own custom game or actually search for custom games and then you'll get a list of games in progress. I don't think, or know anyways, that there are a bunch of private servers out there like in swbf2. I get the feeling that all the servers are controlled by sony and or insomniac, it's really freakin impressive when you think about the amount of data they're pushing... The cool thing is is that you can create a party and invite buddies, clan members, or anyone you want to and once you got two or more people than the person who created the party can search for ranked games, create custom games (for clan battles or practices..) or search for custom games and everyone in the party follows each other from game to game. You can then choose, once you're in the roster screen for the game, what team you are playing on, which squad (when you choose the different squads, you can talk to your squad members without having to push L3, and when you die you can choose to respawn near your squad, or it will automatically have you respawn near your squad, this is an awesome feature as your squad can be trying to take a reactor and you die, but can respawn right back into the action to continue helping them out.) It is going to make for some really tight clan battles. I can't wait! Okay, I'm going on to play! Oh, one more strategy tip, strafe right to left while keeping your aim on their head and you'll dodge more bullets and kill them faster...

yea i like that the gameplay is also related to the star wars handle.

Legend, I get online every am at about 5:40 give or take a few minutes. I will wait till about 5:50am before I hop on a game. Once I see you guys in the lobby, I can send you a party invite and set up a custom game. You can choose what type of game to play, deathmatch, etc... It's okay, you are a nerd, but so am I. We nerds must stick together if we're ever going to rule the world!

Osebass, it was tight playing with you, you rocked the room man! Did you see what I meant about that shotgun? Yeah, baby!!! I usually join the zulu squad every team game. You can join a squad by either pushing triangle in the pregame screen and selecting zulu, or once in game push start and go to change squad and then select zulu. This will at least help us spawn near each other for some good teamwork. Also, your usb headset will work on the game, I'm using mine, just go into online options from the game menu and select audio device (or whatever it says) and enable your headset.

Another tip: increase your controller sensitivity one level at a time until you have it all the way up. This will increase your ability to whip around when they try to light up your back.

Nice tips bro. will try em out, and finally got my headset to work, and that was the reason i left yesterday, i thought i could just plug in my mic and it would work, i saw the accesories setting and did it that way, and now nmy mic works.
