Star Wars Lethal Alliance Announced

Ubisoft sheds some light on the details, force not included.

August 21, 2006- From Tatooine to the Death Star, from Boba Fett to Darth Vader, handheld gamers will be traveling the four corners of the Star Wars universe this December. Ubisoft officially announced the development Star Wars: Lethal Alliance, the first Star Wars game to specifically take advantage of both the Sony PSP, and the Nintendo DS 's hardware differences. Players will be forced to combine the unique attributes of each character, and form alliances in order to adapt to adverse situations.


Working under an exclusive long-term licensing partnership with LucasArts, Ubisoft hopes recreate the Star Wars universe as accurately as possible. Doing so, will require developers from both companies to cooperate in order to create the final product.

"Ubisoft is honored to announce this exciting and innovative Star Wars game, the first original game in the legendary franchise built to take full advantage of the unique capabilities of both the PSP system and the DS," said Serge Hascoet, chief creative officer at Ubisoft. "We have worked closely with LucasArts to create a game that further develops the Star Wars universe, and unveils some of the mysteries that have kept millions of fans enthralled for decades."

i remember there was a star wars game that has some chick that ive never seen before as the main character. and i remember its preview waay earlier. i might check out the game.
